Villa Mandalika Lombok

Very nice room in this beautiful building beautifully styled in a modern Indonesian vibe. The staff was great. We had them pick us up from the harbor and drive us to the hotel for 600,000 IDR. Rumor, the manager was very nice and accommodating, helping us feel comfortable. You can walk to Kuta from there. They also have scooters available. Even though the property is located near the racetrack, you can’t hear the cars when you’re inside the room, which is a plus. The bed was very, very comfortable.

Nicely kept villa. The garden and pool are nicely designed. Our room was spacious and well equipped with two aircons, vents, kitchenette. The staff was very friendly and organized a lot of stuff for us. Scooters, transfer, etc.

Breakfast could have been varied. The location on the main road is maybe not for everybody.

Everything. Staff is very kind. Breakfast is delicious. The beds are really comfortable and the suite is perfect.

Some motorbikes with broken exhausts crossing the main road make noise, but the villa is perfect. Not its fault 😉

First, the people at Villa Mandalike are VERY nice and welcoming! The villa itself is very high quality, with a beautiful stairway up to the studios (the villa only has 2 so it basically is a guesthouse rather than a hotel, which we liked very much). The owners are friendly and want to tell you everything about the area. The staff (thanks again Rumi!) was extremely helpful and friendly. It's a short drive from the city centre, but every studio has its own scooter that you can (and should) rent for a fair price.

If you're looking for a place directly in the city center or the beach, find something else. If you're looking for a very comfortable and luxurious, almost private, studio, look no further. Really the only minor point I could think of is that the whole villa is very luxurious, but the faucets are a little rusty.
