Amazing view! bubbles, cheese and oat cookies on arrival. Real milk provided. Hot tub with view. Compact but luxurious

Very small double bed

Location was immense! Fantastic view of the bay for the elevated position on the hill. Kitchen well equipped, cooked full breakfast most mornings. Slept like a log in the comfy bed. Stromness was a lovely fishing town, with narrow streets and browsing shops. Hosts made us very welcome with all the essentials, plus some treats and fresh flowers! Hot tub was also amazing with the great view over the cove. The property was very private, 'Hoy' was the best view of the three rooms. Although the others were great too. Weather was also amazing for the week, we managed to get a lot of places of interest and restaurants in. Quality! Orkney should be on everyone's bucket list!

Not much negative, not a huge selection of local restaurants, but those close are all nice. Some nice ones further a field too. A gas BBQ would have been a bonus.

We liked having the spa, the kitchenette, and a designated parking space. The bathrobes were a nice touch. It felt very private.

Although there was a bit more space than many hotel rooms, we struggled with space - our suitcases took up much of the floor space when they were open. There are so many extra pillows they just took up space.

The view, the interior, the decor, the jacuzzi…it was perfect! Very special accomodation not far from Stromness and important sightseeing sites…we really loved it here

Bed was not my favorite

Location was so convenient to town and the ferry. Beautiful views. Quiet, private. Able to prep basic foods with all necessary pans and dishes - nice welcome treats of champagne, crackers, bread, butter, cheese.

Location was fantastic, facilities excellent and hot tub a real bonus . Very relaxing after a busy day exploring the wonderful sites in Orkney.

I had a fantastic stay at Orkney Lux Lodge in Stromness. The lodge is beautifully designed and combines modern amenities with a cozy atmosphere. The location is perfect with stunning views. A good base for excursions and exploring the island. Highly recommended for a relaxing stay on the Orkneys.
