Marari Villas - Private Pool Villas

The team was warm and friendly. Easily accessible. George the manager managed to source us baby wipes for our 11 month old, as we had forgotten a very needed product. Rupert made sure we were getting on fine. The beach is a big plus, as it is slightly away from the busy bit, and is kept very clean. Clean pool, definitely need to cool down. Food was delicious. Comfy bed.

Nothing to do with the team, more issues faced as parents with a baby, but being a vintage property reassembled it does retain it's charm, but the wooden doors are loud and creaky, which woke up our baby. Not an actual lawn in the garden, so nowhere to let a crawling baby loose. Small picnic blanket helped a bit. Nevertheless the staff were very helpful and gave us garden toys for him to play with. The cot provided for the baby could do with an actual mattress.

This was a blissful stay at the end of 2 weeks travelling around Kerala. We stayed here for 3 nights for my husbands 40th birthday and had a wonderful relaxing time. Jibin and the rest of the team were so friendly and helpful. The food was delicious - some of the best we had including kid friendly options. The villas are very private and we barely saw anyone else at all. Incredibly clean and comfortable The beach is pretty and largely deserted apart from the odd fisherman/ stray dog - we walked on the beach but spent most of the time around the pool and in the hammock etc. Not cheap but worth every penny.

lovely villa and so close to the beautiful deserted beach. having a private pool was great. friendly staff and lovely food, thank you to Jibin who looked after us, and chef and the ladies.Though what was also lovely was the privacy of having our own place.

the staff were so friendly and helpful. thank you to George and his team for welcoming us and being so helpful. we were a short walk from the sea which was great. the pool in the villa was lovely. the whole villa was kept very clean. the food was really great and reasonable priced.

All the staff (Jibin, George, Benjamin, chef, the cleaning ladies) were efficient and attentive, going out of their way to make us comfortable. The food was lovely - cooked to order so they catered to our taste(s). The beach was a short walk away and was clean and safe. The pool was cleaned by Benjamin every day and was cool & refreshing. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

The property is in need of some work to bring it up to standard eg leaking sink in bathroom, air-con leaking onto the bed, shower which was impossible to operate. The food could have be priced more competitively. Full payment had to be made in advance by bank transfer - ideally payment should have been by card.

If you are looking for a private and personalized luxury stay, then this is it. We loved the villa, the food, the staff. The place has only 3 villas and is very boutique. Owned by a foreigner couple, Marari villa is perfectly designed for privacy and peace of mind. Just 300mts from the beach this villa is a hidden gem.

The shower pressure could be better for hot water.

There is no privacy for private swimming pool. There is a building nearby where people can see into the property. Also the fencing is not well covered.
