Villa Theodora

It is our 2nd stay at villa Theodora. The villa is spacious and clean, the pool is perfect.

My only advice would be they need more mirrors! Only the main double bedroom has a mirror. I think it need 1 in all bedrooms. That's a minor complaint easily fixed. We will return.

Everything was Perfect

The location was great we had car so able to move about freely, the pool was amazing and we loved all the geckos. Big space and great variety of utensils looked new, we have been coming to Cyprus for several year and we will be booking this accommodation again asap

The blinds and a few things could do with updating and many a bit more verity but that would also impact on the price and it was good value for money

The location was good for access to the beaches and Chloraka Village. The private pool was good and clean and implements to clean it left at the property and owner hoover cleaned during the stay. Table tennis was good facility. The upper sun deck was good but furniture in disrepair and unclean. The owners came to the property to discuss the property issues and brought new pillows and covers with a new sheet and mattress cover and accepted that they should have been changed before and double covers used to protect the pillows. The owners were kind to allow a late checkout on departure day with no new arrivals.

The property had been quickly top cleaned and left in a generally unclean condition in kitchen bathrooms and bedroom. The master bedroom mattress was flimsy and uncomfortable which we had to add two duvets on top to sleep on it. The mattress cover was thick with dust and had not been removed and cleaned for months. The pillows were disgusting with sweat and dribble shown in photos. The property rating of a 9.0 is wrong and may reflect the pictures of when the property was new some 15 years ago. The owners don’t accept the responsibility for this rating and firmly blame booking.com for this being incorrect and not up to date. I noted in previous visitor comments that we read that the mattress had been mentioned before and replied to by the owner as having been changed. It was stated to us that this was 12 months ago and that the poor quality replacement must have also degraded to lacking support and springs being uncomfortable. The two duvets placed on top provided only marginal improvement. There is a large guard dog which is left outside the adjacent neighbour property for large periods of time typically all day and then 2300-0400 when it barks loudly and continually without public presence. It is not possible to speak to its owner as it is viscious and prevents access to their door. The owners encouraged us to complain about the dog to the owners. We have lodged a formal complain regarding the poor treatment of the animal and antisocial behaviour resulting.

Villa had everything. Facilities were excellent. Hosts were very helpful.

Nothing

Location of the villa was very good for us. A car would be needed from here to visit even the Paphos restaurants, but we come to Cyprus every year and always hire one anyway, so no issue for us. Nice quiet residential location was perfect for our stay as a family The pool was a perfect size for our family, and was kept spotlessly clean Andreas was a perfect host; from popping in and introducing himself once we had settled in, to answering any questions we had during our stay

The only things we didn't like were the 'squeaky' beds and door handles. Also, a dishwasher would have been handy, but none of this is too big of an issue
