So-J Beach Villa

Premessa fondamentale: nella ricerca che ho fatto su Booking impostando il filtro 3 e 4 stelle e valutazioni da ottimo in su me lo segnalava con tre quadratini (e non stelle) che ho scoperto solo dopo indicasse solo il gradimento degli ospiti e non le stelle effettive (su google infatti lo segnala come hotel 1 Stella). Si tratta effettivamente nonostante il prezzo pagato (900 dollari per 2 stanze 6 notti) di una struttura molto spartana e lontanissima dai nostri standard 3 stelle. Uppuweli è molto più cara delle altre località dello Sri Lanka però il prezzo pagato è comunque molto elevato rispetto alla qualità della struttura. I punti positivi: le casette sono a pochi minuti a piedi da una bella spiaggia attrezzata (i lettini se si consuma nei vari bar non si pagano); sono ombreggiate dagli alberi e l’aria condizionata anche se punta direttamente il letto funzionava bene. Lo staff è stato molto gentile, ci ha fatto le pulizie tutti i giorni anche a quanto pare da prassi sono a giorni alterni e ci ha dato per i miei figli una stanza più grande con letti separati senza il surplus di prezzo. Inoltre anche se non sempre la colazione prevede qualcosa di dolce per noi hanno cucinato sempre i pancake.

La doccia non si può chiudere e il bagno in generale è davvero poco piacevole (allego foto). Il letto era un po’ sgangherato e anche i comodini, le zanzariere erano bucate in vari punti. Inoltre tutti i primi giorni come lenzuolo di sopra ci hanno dato due lenzuoli singoli scomodissimi in un letto matrimoniale. Arredamento molto spartano.

A beautiful accomedation with small villas beside a big and very clean pool and its all right beside the ocean. You get free beach towels and the service is really good. The staff is very nice and open. The breakfast is good and they even provide you with breakfast outside the designated breakfast times. We can only recommend.

Extremely welcoming staff who, after arriving early in the morning after a night train, got us into a room ASAP. Genuinely caring throughout our stay. Breakfast was tasty with fresh fruit everyday. 2 minute walk to the beach- beach towels provided also. A great 6 nights stay which ended our month in Sri Lanka.

Raňajky síce neboli bufetové, ale nám to nevadilo, spali sme tam 3 noci, lebo sme tak mali objednané a presunuli sme sa do ineho hotela, takže vždy na raňajky nám za Tie 3 dni pripravili niečo iné. Bazén bol veľmi pekný a čistý. Ubytovanie na 5 minut od pláže s tromi fajn reštauráciami.

Izba Bola pre mňa depirmujúca - bez chladničky, len postel bez skrine, okrem spania som tan nebola ochotná stráviť ani minutu. Klimatizácia hučala. Terasa bola prijemná a boli by sme tam vedeli traviť čas, keby nebolo tak teplo a to aj neskoro večer. Uprimne, chcela som sa odstahovať hned po prichode. Vybrali sme si to zaklade review na booking, Ale Teda pre mňa to pocitovo bolo uplne inde. Nezodpovedalo to 4 hviezdičkam.

L’emplacement est idéal, à seulement 2 minutes à pied de la plage et à proximité immédiate des restaurants. La chambre était propre, confortable et climatisée. Le petit déjeuner était copieux, délicieux et différent chaque matin, ce qui est très appréciable. Le personnel a été extrêmement attentionné et disponible, nous aidant volontiers à organiser nos activités. Le gérant, qui parle parfaitement français, a été d’une grande gentillesse et toujours présent pour s’assurer que tout se passe bien durant notre séjour. Nous recommandons cet hôtel chaleureusement !

Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt. Der Gastgeber war sehr nett und hilfsbereit, das Frühstück fantastisch, sehr lecker und immer mit viel frischem Obst. Die Lage ist top, 2 Gehminuten zum Badestrand, wo sich einige schöne Strandbars befinden.

Un accueil chaleureux et très bienveillant, une équipe attentive et très à l’écoute, le patron français était formidable, mon mari avait mal au genou et il nous a proposé de dîner sur place 2 soirs de suite alors que le restaurant n’était pas encore disponible à la clientèle, je recommande vivement cet établissement très bien suité et si bien géré… tout ce qu’il y a à faire dans le coin vous sera proposé et plus encore ! Je reviendrai sans hésiter ! Merci encore

Velmi ochotný personál, blízkost moře, hezké velké ubytování.

Wanneer we aankwamen, werden we verrast met een zwembad dat nog maar net af was. Toen we boekten stond dit nog niet aangegeven dat was een super fijne verrassing. De werknemers waren super vriendelijk en de manager heel behulpzaam. Op de laatste dag waren we nog gaan duiken na het uitchecken, en ze lieten ons onszelf nog even opfrissen aan de douches van het zwembad wat enorm deugd deed! Toplocatie dichtbij het strand. Aanrader!
