The location and seclusion is lovely. The Villa is spacious and fairly well equipped. The welcome pack was also well received.

When you rent a villa with a pool (even though the weather only would have permitted use on 2 days) - you do expect the pool to be usable. Not only was the pool not cleaned it looked like it hadn’t been cleaned for some weeks. The oven was also old and I couldn’t get it to work Properly.

The villa location was great, 10min walk down to Marina Rubicon and 10min walk to supermarket. The bus stop is 5 mins away for the circular no30 bus. Villa was spacious, clean and had everything you needed. Bed was very comfortable. Alarm system very easy to use and no keys to be responsible for is a great bonus!

The location was difficult for taxi to find when we arrived at 9pm, as road not on Google maps, it is on a little side lane, off main road, which was difficult to locate in the dark. When we arrived the fist bathroom on left as you walk in, had a leaking toilet but the maintenance man called the next day and fixed it. The pool steps are loose and the paint at the bottom is very flaky, could do with a repaint. Also be aware that the pool has no shallow end, its one depth all over, so at 5.5" I could just stand on my tip toes.

This is our second stay at Casa Mar. The location is great. Only a short walk to the marina and about a 20 minute walk to the beach along the costal path. A supermarket very close by with everything you need. As it’s slightly out of the town it is very quiet and a great view over the marina.

They are building some villas very nearby which created a bit of noise in the day and some dust in the air but it didn’t affect our stay. I just hope they don’t ruin the area by building too many villas in the area as it feels nice and private.

Lovely, well kept apartment in small, quiet residential area. Apartment and facilities clean and well maintained. Lovely outdoor area. Perfect for small family.

Electricity cut out a couple of times due to “excessive use” e.g. couldn’t have the oven on, when air conditioning and pool heater were running, which was a bit tricky to manage with feeding young children. Though staff were very efficient to responding to initial call out, and we were careful with what / when we used appliances going forward so managed OK!

Lovely quiet, private villa with great views towards the sea. It's within easy walking distance of the newer Rubicon Marina - 10 mins if you walk over the gravel area at the rear of the property or 15 mins if you walk around the road. There's plenty of available parking and we found it easier to park in the spaces outwith the designated space. HyperDino supermarket 1 minute away in the car. A great crepe and waffle van conveniently located on our walk home from Rubicon which the kids loved. Lovely welcome pack on arrival. Beaches at Playa de Papagayo are well worth a visit.

Towels could be better as they aren't very absorbent and cutlery could do with an upgrade. Apart from that, all good!
