Villa Casa Mar

The villa had everything we needed for a great holiday and we were really grateful for the groceries that were left for us. The location was ideal within easy walking distance to the Marina and the centre of Playa Blanca. There were lovely distant views towards the sea. Guja at Dreams Rental responded quickly to any queries we had.

The rubber tree next door rubbed against the roof of the property in the wind. The dedicated parking space for the property was taken up by the neighbours car although there was plenty of space in the road for parking.

Not much to say here - the electrics blow if you use anything that heats - when the pool heater is active I think - but it’s only a quick reset after a min or 3.

Size of villa was great for three adults in separate rooms. It was clean and we were happy with the location.

On arrival, there was a bed that was not made up and there was no bedding to make it up. It took a while to get a response and get someone round to sort this. Sorted in the end though so not a big problem. Patio door was in poor repair as it scraped along the floor when you open it which was noisy. Again, not a big problem but a bit of an issue early morning whilst others slept. Pool was warm enough but certainly in need of a little tlc.

The property is in a good location an easy 15 minute walk to the Marina area. It has a distant sea views. The villa was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay

The pool needed minor attention at the waterline but we still very much enjoyed use of the outside space and swimming pool.

the villa has everything you need. Comfy main bed, strong shower, air con works well, the pool is lovely just the perfect temp of you put the cover on at night or if you go out for the day. needs a little TLC along the water line but it doesn’t effect the usage. great location. 15 min walk to marina, 10 mins once we found the cut through over the gravel. 25 mins to playa dorado which is a beautiful beach only €12 for 2 sun beds and an umbrella for the day. walkable to a supermarket that has everything you need and more. Guja at Dream homes is very responsive and friendly.

the pools needs a little bit of TLC but by no means is a problem. The utility room smells very strongly of drains but we just kept the door shut so it didn’t effect our stay. it’s a problem in hot countries so we don’t blame the villa.

location was ideal, peaceful & quiet, 10 minute walk to Rubicon Marina, 20 minute into Playa Blanca restaurants bars and shops.

It’s very tired, needs some money spent on it, especially kitchen and patio furniture.
