Villa Faro

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect family villa for all ages – highly recommend! We had a fantastic stay at Villa Faro and would highly recommend it to families and mixed-age groups looking for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday. We spent a long time searching for somewhere special that would comfortably suit everyone — ourselves, our 18-year-old, and our 9-month-old grandson and his parents — and Villa Faro was exactly what we were hoping for. It offered the perfect mix of entertainment, comfort, and privacy. The pool and hot tub were enjoyed by everyone, especially during the cooler mornings and evenings. The pool table and football table were excellent additions and provided great afternoon entertainment. The shaded games area became one of our favourite spaces and was also the perfect place for us to set up a relaxing massage session with a local masseuse that we hired for myself and my daughter — such a lovely extra treat during the holiday. We also loved using the barbecue area for relaxed family evenings together. Everyone had their own space and bathroom, which made it easy to enjoy privacy whenever needed. A real bonus for our family was the playroom and outdoor area for the baby, which made travelling with a little one so much easier and more enjoyable. The gym and sauna were also very popular with some members of our group. Practical facilities like the washing machine and clothesline were invaluable with a young child. The location was excellent — within walking distance of shops and lovely restaurants. We enjoyed a beautiful walk down to the marina (around 45 minutes), taking in the sea views and stopping for delicious lunches and evening meals. My husband and I also took the ferry to Fuerteventura and spent a lovely afternoon relaxing in the sunshine and watching the sea. Transport was effortless — the bus service and taxis were inexpensive and reliable, so there was no need to hire a car.

A few small improvements that could make an already wonderful stay even better would be adding AstroTurf around the swing area for comfort and safety, some additional shelter around the barbecue area for breezier evenings, and more shaded areas or extra parasols around the sunbathing space to make afternoons more comfortable.o

Our stay at Villa Faro was excellent. Our family loved the pool, gym, sauna and made good use of all the other facilities too. It was spotlessly clean, very spacious and well equipped for all our needs. The garden is well maintained with lots of plants and greenery. Area for eating outside with bbq and table tennis and football. The addition of the hot tub is an extra bonus and we loved using it. All round, an excellent experience.

Just a few constructive criticisms: A couple more sun beds would be good, some of the garden furniture is very tatty. Some small tables to put drinks on outside. There should be plastic glasses to use outside round the pool. In the kitchen, only one cava glass for five adults!!!! Plates and bowls chipped and marked, need replacing. I think for a villa at these prices, more toilet paper should be provided and say, kitchen paper, foil cling film etc. No dishwasher or washing machine tablets either. It would cost little for the owners to provide these and be much appreciated by us.

J’ai récemment séjourné dans une villa à Lanzarote et c’était tout simplement exceptionnel ! La villa était spacieuse, moderne et parfaitement équipée, offrant tout le confort nécessaire. Même si la vue n’était pas sur la plage, l’environnement était paisible et agréable. Le jardin et la piscine étaient des havres de paix où il faisait bon se détendre. De plus, l’emplacement était idéal, proche des plages et des restaurants. Les hôtes étaient extrêmement accueillants et attentifs, rendant notre séjour encore plus agréable. Je recommande vivement cette villa à quiconque souhaite passer des vacances inoubliables à Lanzarote !

Bien que mon séjour dans la villa à Lanzarote ait été très agréable, il y a quelques points à améliorer. L’équipement de la cuisine était un peu léger et manquait de certains ustensiles nécessaires pour cuisiner confortablement. De plus, le barbecue avait besoin d’être revu, car il n’était pas très fonctionnel. Enfin, une ampoule manquait au-dessus de la table de ping-pong, ce qui rendait difficile son utilisation le soir. Ces petits détails n’ont pas gâché mon expérience, mais ils pourraient être améliorés pour rendre le séjour encore plus agréable. Malgré tout, je recommande cette villa pour sa tranquillité et son ambiance chaleureuse !

The gym and sauna was a fantastic bonus. The outside area is huge with plenty of space to relax. The villa is in an ideal location with shops and restaurants within walking distance. Our host was incredible and was super responsive if we had any questions. Thank you so much Blas for looking after us during our stay.

Honestly can’t think of anything worth mentioning from a negative perspective.
