We didn't get breakfast, which was one weird part, as we thought it was a bed and breakfast.

Not much I didn't like, other than maybe a little far from either of the two towns in the area.

I recommend staying at Villa Maud. Maud is an exceptional host and her house is amazing. The room was perfectly clean, and we enjoyed staying at the pool, and in the garden. The breakfast was really good too! We tried the recommended restaurants and wineries and had the best time.

Beautiful, spotlessly clean, and spacious accommodations. Maud was a welcoming host, who met us at check in and followed up to ensure that everything met our expectations. Close to many wineries. The bottled water, coffee and creamer provided were appreciated.

"We expected a more traditional B&B. Furnishings not quite antique but not modern either."

Host told us she never got our order for 2 breakfasts for the 2 days we were there. We did enjoy a breakfast at a nearby town. Owner offered to put together a breakfast but we just wanted to get on with our day by then. Oops, wrong box. What we liked: the views, the quiet, the donkey, the hosts pride in her inn and her cordial demeanor too.

"Villa Maud is a gem."

I highly recommend Villa Maud. My wife and I needed a romantic getaway, not too far from our own home, and this location was perfect. The Monet Suite is luxurious: spacious, comfortable, well-appointed. Maud herself is a delightful individual, and an amazing artist. We will definitely return.

"Wonderful cozy getaway close enough to have a short drive to a bunch of wineries"

The whole place was beautiful and was much larger than anticipated! Breakfast was available to be delivered to our room for an extra cost, which was so nice, and the jacuzzi tub worked great! The pool was beautiful as well, and I really enjoyed looking at all the artwork in the house. Maud was such a sweet host too!

Only complaint would be that the weather wasn't warm enough to really enjoy the pool at night with the beautiful lights. That's not the house or hosts fault though :)

The suite was wonderful (especially that bed, shower and Jacuzzi), the views spectacular, the property was beautiful, the innkeeper (Maud) was sweet and very accommodating, optional breakfast was delicious. Unfortunately it rained and was chilly most of the time we were there - would like to return and use the pool. So many vineyards close by and easy to get to. Just can't say enough about this charming inn!
