Mango Tango Villas Siargao

The place was gorgeous, comfortable, clean, it felt like our own little place.

The road leading up to the property was wet and slippery(due to the rain), would be lovely if that could be improved for other guests so they will have a positive experience

The idea of the property is very nice the cool layout, the well kept garden and the overall style. But it is trying to compete in a premium villa market and yet is very poorly managed. Unfortunately the only bad review I’ve given a property in a long time.

Cleanliness: The cutlery was all grimy and clearly had not been cleaned. It wasn’t suitable for eating; all needed rewashing if so. There was a poo in the bedroom ?a gecko ?something worse not sure why this hasn’t been cleaned. The top of the bed fabric was covered in dead bugs im not sure why they haven’t either washed them or just taken them off Access: the booking page comments on the access path it doesn’t make it clear that if it rains (which in a tropical island it does alot) then it was completely flooded access you’re feet will be soaked, tuk tuks don’t go down the path and good luck with your luggage. Even the transfer organised by the villas wouldn’t go down the road. I don’t understand why they don’t lay some paving stepping stones outside like they appear to have started to do. Information: on arrival the caretaker seemed in a rush to leave and stayed for about 30seconds. Nothing was properly explained we were just told to read the welcome book. The drinking water dispenser in the flat was empty and we had no access to drinking water during out time there Management: no one is at the property during your entire stay. There are almost comical bits like the welcome step as you come in is uneven and almost a trip hazard. I assume from the intro book owners are abroad and a well thought idea of a property is being poorly run. Unfortunately this is the only bad review I’ve given a property in a long time.

The villa felt like a home away from home. Everything was perfect: the tropical vibe of the house, the lush garden, the outdoor shower, the location, the helpful staff... I wish I could have stayed longer! Definitely recommend Mango Tango Villas if you're traveling in Siargao!

We liked the double beds, spacious for us. We also loved the massive mirror in the room.

The water supply leaked so we didn’t have any access for drinkable water.

Quietly located accommodation and nicely furnished. Had everything you need, even a small kitchen if you want to cook for yourself. Staff was super friendly and always helpful.

The road to the accommodation was a bit bumpy. But manageable with a scooter.

Absolutely everything. The staff: 10/10. James was amazing and so nice with us. The location: 10/10. Central but away from the crowd and noise The villa: 10/10. Loved every detail, the deco and the comfort. The surroundings: 10/10. Super peaceful & quiet. The garden, the plants, the cafes with breakfast just around the property. Thank you for this amazing stay!
