La ubicación

Falta de material básico en condiciones. Sartenes se tuvo que reclamar un cambio, faltaba utensilios para limpiar como un estropajo, detergente para la ropa, limpiasuelos. Para cocinar sal, aceite, etc. Además de la bajada del agua por la mañana, (mantenimientos), por lo que si querías ducharte mejor por la noche. La cisterna pierde el agua, por lo que no se puede tirar de la cadena (se repara) y durante 2 dias no paraba de caer agua?. La piscina supuestamente venian a mantenerla limpia cada 4 dias, se tuvo que pedir que viniesen a limpiar por exceso de algas negras. Por falta de regulación del ph y cloro, por lo que evidentemente decidí ni probar la piscina. Inviertes casi 800 pavos en 6 dias y vives estas cosas que no vale la pena repetir.

Good Comms from Host. Cleanliness. Bedrooms comfortable with good storage. Living area modern/well furnished, although floor tiles starting to lift.

Villa is not good value for money. Bit too far out of resort. Other than mini market, no bars/restaurants nearby. Parts of Villa tired and in disrepair. Bathrooms old. Ensuite wall tiles popped with a loud bang while we were there. Not repaired. Bathroom cabinets rotting at base. Floor tiles lifting in living room. Exterior walls have large damp patches and paint flaking. Wind blowing flakes everywhere. Outside tap could not be turned off. Reported. Not repaired. Furniture in kitchen tired and shabby. Pool paint also flaking off sides and bottom. Patio furniture badly stained.

What we liked: The property has great space and really strong potential. The architecture is interesting, with bold and intriguing décor that gives the place character. The outdoor area is a real highlight — spacious, private, and centred around a heated pool that could be fantastic with better upkeep. Beds and bedding were comfortable, towels were sufficient, and the welcome basket was a thoughtful touch. Overall, it’s a visually appealing place that, at its best, feels relaxing and well designed.

What could be improved: Unfortunately, poor maintenance and lack of attention to detail hold the property back. The kitchen and bathrooms are dated and in clear need of renovation, and overall cleanliness was only average — nothing alarming, but it hasn’t seen a proper deep clean in a while. Several outdoor lights didn’t work, the outdoor dining lamp showed signs of improvised electrical work, and the living room terrace door barely functions. The dishwasher was clogged because the filter wasn’t properly attached, and the bathrooms initially had sewage smells likely caused by plumbing issues, though this improved after the first day. Basic essentials were missing, including salt, pepper, olive oil, dishwashing soap, laundry detergent, and cleaning supplies. We bought salt, pepper, and oil ourselves and left them behind for future guests, but this shouldn’t be relied upon. The pool area looks good but is poorly maintained, the heat pump produces a constant droning noise, hot water temperature fluctuates when more than one person uses water, Wi-Fi is slow and weakly secured, and host interaction felt limited to the bare minimum.

Fijn huis, comfortabele woonkamer, heerlijke ruime buitenruimte (incl. zwembad) met allerlei hoekjes om lekker uit de wind en in de zon te zitten! Personeel reageert supersnel bij problemen of vragen! Ook wanneer t niet zo warm is buiten (lang leve Cycloon Emilia! 😉), is het binnen fijn. De airco kan ook als verwarming gebruikt worden en de meubels zijn comfortabel! Welkomstpakketje met water, koffie en thee en koekjes is attent!

Wat achterstallig onderhoud, zoals al vaker genoemd. Door de ligging van Montaña Roja aan de Westzijde van het huis is de zon wat vroeger weg dan elders.

Die Aufteilung der Räume war top, auch die Einrichtung mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail. Zwei Badezimmer waren optimal. Es gibt 3 Tische, innen im Küchenbereich, einen auf der Terrasse und einen auf der Veranda am Eingang. Das gibt Abwechslung für den Frühstücksausblick, total schön. Ausstattung top, alles was man braucht ist da. Sogar eine Waschmaschine und Strandtücher.

Alles war wunderbar. Man könnte noch ein paar Hinweise zur Mülltrennung nennen.

Modern and comfortable

Issues with the swimming pool being cold for half our stay. Staff were good trying to sort it but ultimately it wasn’t warm enough to use it. Issue on the last night with pump outside the bedroom thrumming all night. The stay per night was significantly more expensive late Nov than it was in February same year and it didn’t feel like great value for money this time, for 2 people.

We had a great 10-day stay at Villa Maday as a family of three (two adults and a 10-year-old). The villa was spotless, spacious, and had everything we needed. The private pool and outdoor area were fantastic – perfect for relaxing and spending time as a family. The location is quiet and convenient, with shops, restaurants, and beaches just a short drive away. We explored much of Lanzarote and found the villa to be an ideal base.

The only downside was that the beds were a little uncomfortable for us, but everything else made up for it. The host was friendly and responsive, and overall, we had a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Would definitely recommend for families!

Jolie maison, très agréable, calme, bien orientée et propre, et bien équipée. Tout est la, pour passer un agréable séjour, dans un complexe sécurisé.

les marches pour accéder à la villa (pas pour mobilité réduite) et peut-être penser à rénover l'intérieur/extérieur de la piscine, car s'effrite.
