Villa Bella Lanzarote

Location Good , Hotel reception excellent and very helpful. Big villa , lots of space . patio at front a morning sun trap , back round pool good in afternoon

Some beds were uncomfortable . We had to move a mattress from one bedroom to another to make the middle bedroom comfortable . Cooker hood lethal- hit our heads several times and the hob had a mind of its own . Oven very good though . Would have made a big difference if the pool had been heated . It was too cold to use much .

Size& location

Pool needs some repairs to tiles and would benefit from some heating.

Spacious inside and out. Sun loungers padded and plenty of towels.

Lack of kitchen equipment I cook a lot for my health retreat and utensils are few! I slipped in shower so needed to put a towel on the tray to avoid slipping. The property is very dated, a lick of paint and blankets would make a big difference.

Pool could do with being a touch warmer

Villa huge and clean. 3 rooms on-suite with shower - 1 had a bath Another large family bathroom. Beds very comfy. Main bedroom had huge bed, walk in wardrobe and separate small living room. Pool a great size for a Villa. Pool cleaned every few days. Sun loungers very comfortable. 2 padded comfy couches in shaded patio area. Loads of towels and toiletries supplied. Big modern fridge/freezer. WiFi worked well.

Only minor points - not complaints: Several small tiles falling off in pool. No parasols but plenty of space to move beds into shaded patio area just outside rear door (There is a separate shaded table and chairs) Could do with bigger kettle for size of Villa. Folder with info like taxi numbers, best supermarkets and restaurant recommendations. Note there is no air-con but is not advertised as having it. Needed doors open in October to keep the place cool but did the job fine.

The property is very big and spacious. The villa is owned by a hotel up the road, and the staff there are nice, welcoming and helpful.

There were no BBQ utensils on arrival and it the grills were not clean. Hot water for showers is not readily available and you need to run the shower for 5 minutes before it warms up. Tap in the kitchen sink runs really slow. Outdoor furniture is dated and damaged. The swimming pool water was green and unusable, despite the hotel trying to clean it for 3 days. As we couldn’t and didn’t use the pool despite asking for it to be sorted, we had no choice but to book another villa and leave early and stop somewhere else on the island, which was a massive inconvenience. We couldn’t loose anymore of our holiday times as we traveled with 2 young children. The pool and whole villa needs updating.

Location is fantastic, a nice walk to either the centre of Costa teguise and even shorter walks to nice beaches where you can some nice snorkelling. The property itself is spacious, has a great pool and communal areas. It has everything you need to cook for your group. The staff who are based in the reception of vitalclass hotel which is a 2min walk away are extremely friendly and hospitable.

Needs a bigger kettle for kitchen, some of the smaller beds did not have comfortable mattresses although this is subjective. The washing machine doesn’t work.
