We had a really wonderful time. The housekeeper was very nice and went out of her way to help us and make us comfortable. The apartment was very beautiful and very comfortable.

Gorgeous old house, beautifully located in an elevated position overlooking the village square. Really well equipped. Special thanks must go to Gloria, the wonderful housekeeper, who met us outside a local cafe to walk us up to the house and show us round. On Day 2 (Sunday!), our car had a flat battery. Gloria helped us find a mechanic who sorted us out and stayed with us for 45 minutes acting as translator. She was fantastic - kind, positive, generous - and she was a lovely person, too. Thanks so much, Gloria. We'd have been in real trouble without you!!

Quirky, quiet. Lovely decor and furniture. Fabulous facilities. Great location for spectacular walks directly from the town. The bus service both ways is good. There are a couple of lovely restaurants and bars nearby. Free parking in the town square

There are never enough electrical sockets. I should remember to bring a doubler on holiday. It's a short uphill pedestrian trek; remember to pack light. (But well worth the effort)

Good clean and quite spacious accommodation.

The central location above the main square is good but the noise level emanating mainly from small children screaming every evening was pretty bad even with closed windows. We are used to rural quietness and listening to people chatting just outside on the alleys was intrusive at times.

This is liking coming home in your private castle surrounded by natural beauty. I loved the Casa and can strongly recommend staying in Vallehermoso if you like nature and authenticity.
