Villa Santana

Very spacious outdoor space, great pool which can be heated , additional 50€ per week, but well worth the extra cost, Adar (villa manager) very quick to respond to any queries we had. Only a 5 minute stroll to the center of Playa Blanca where all the shops and restaurants are located. Fans provided although there is air con in the double room in the main villa. Our second time at this villa and won’t be our last!

If I was being picky, I would say the knob on the dishwasher could do with being replaced as everything has rubbed off and you’re not sure what setting your using 🤔

We liked the outside space. Lots of room even with the pool. Very good bbq area with charcoal, lighters and matches supplied too. Every room looked as advertised. Comfortable beds so slept well. We arrived about 9.30pm so was dark. When entering the Villa we could only find 2 bedrooms but after finding another set of keys and going outside, we found a separate double room with en-suite, this was not in the main house but around the pool area. Loved having the washing machine in its own little courtyard off the kitchen which had good space to peg a load of washing out. Having the coffee machine was a bonus and we bought compatible pods from super dino so that was good and we left what we didn’t use for the next people. The welcome pack was a very well appreciated gift, bread, crisps, marmalade, biscuits, bottle of light sparkling wine, fruit juice and having a large bottle of water to use was fantastic. Lots of shade around the pool and 2 parasols to use too if it gets a bit hot.

Small changes not dislikes- There were 6 of us but there was only 5 sun beds so 1 of us had to use a chair or lie on a towel on the floor when we had sunbathing afternoons around the pool. It would be nice if there were 6 matching chairs around the outside dining table as there was only 4 and not matching, I know this doesn’t matter to a lot of people but little things like that make a difference to others and would not cost much to change. We bought ice creams and they didn’t seem to go hard but stayed together. We did make ice cubes ok though if they were left over night so that was a bit puzzling?

The villa was in a great location, immaculately clean & had everything we needed for our holiday. Bed was comfortable we loved the pool. Adar was very helpful during & before our stay. Lovely welcome hamper on arrival. Would 100% stay again.

There was nothing we didn't like. Only one teeny gripe, we were asked to pay for the pool to be heated on arrival, the advert stated heated pool, so this needs adjusting. It wasn't expensive, we paid 60 euros for the pool to be heated for our stay, so it was worth it, but should be clearer when booking that it's an extra cost

Perfect location close to the seafront and all the restaurants and shops. Very comfortable bed and sofa. Excellent heated good sized pool cleaned regularly. Nice BBQ, table and chairs and sun beds. Plenty of towels for two. Great welcome pack

Bathrooms need upgrading, very tired, dirty grout. Pool room shower soaks the floor, new shower needed. Wicker furniture on patio very uncomfortable (needs new cushions). Kitchen equipment lacking. Pans worn out, had to buy a corkscrew which we left. Limited mugs. No grill tray for oven or trays whatsoever. Microwave but no pots to use in it

Location suited us well near port end which we prefer and close to town

Great family villa and good location to Playa Blanca and a nice private area, ideal for families with children.

To be honest, we have stayed at this villa four times over the last few years and things are starting to get tired, For example outside furniture which you spend a lot of time using on holiday and it's not has comfortable sitting around the pool etc,

The location was great, and the outside area was spacious and plenty of kitchen equipment

Charge for pool even though in questions it states heated pool free of charge October to March the same on VRBO website but owner argued and we had to pay 50 euros. Showers are awful, and the pool room.bathroom floor flooded each use. Garden furniture is tired, and plastic chairs are weak and one broke which was dangerous

Clean. Location. Facilities.

Location was fantastic, pool was fab and the villa was very clean

Everything was great and I didn't want to leave I will return
