Perfect sanctuary to retreat to in the evening. Loved the private pool to cool down and relax after exploring the island during the day.

The location was perfect and the private pool is the perfect size. The owner was also such a lovely man and helped us organise trips on the island.

Nothing, the stay was great

It was clean, and had most things we needed towels glasses, kitchen facilities etc pool was nice also clean, bed was big, had mirrors and good storage bathroom was big also had a little kitchen area and a fridge which was handy good for two night stay.

Paintwork was an issue, was falling off the walls everywhere, must have a damp problem. lots of cracks in the walls needs some tlc maybe modernising would be amazing to make this property better. The owner also got very angry and aggressive, because we wouldn’t pay for a lock that broke, which was not our fault, as the lock was already faulty when we arrived, so my partner asked the owner of the property can you fix the lock it’s faulty, which the owner did do or we thought he did. So we left the property and went out for the night. When we came back which wasn’t late, we tried opening the door with the key and it wouldn’t open we didn’t try opening the door without any force that we would break it, we just twisted the key left to right which you do when trying to open a door. The owners wife heard us struggling and are also tried opening it also not with too much force and it wouldn’t open so then her husband the ‘owner’ came out to also try the door he also couldn’t open it so it had to break the door down so we could enter the property. He then said you broke lock you need to pay we just ignored this then went to bed. The next day we went to check out, and gave him back the keys and also paid for the bikes we rented for a day. He then said you still need to pay for the broken lock, but we said sorry we don’t think we should pay for it breaking because we didn’t break it, as when we got to the property without even using the key ourselves because the owner let us in, we already noticed it was faulty and wasn’t locking. It wasn’t a lot of money but it was the principal that it wasn’t our fault the lock broke on the inside and obviously there was no other way to get in then break the door down, and he then started getting very angry and wouldn’t let my partner speak and kept talking over him, we also had no cash left to give him for the lock and we had to catch our ferry for our trip home.

The property was a short walk from the city centre and beach but it was still away from the Gilli hustle and bustle. It was quiet and tranquil

Nice pool, bed and a/c.

No soap. Had to ask for this (and they seemed a bit surprised by the request), and it took a while to get it.
