Vip Villas - Caleta Dorada

Villa spacious, clean and in good location.

Pool table and equipment need repairing/replacing. No WiFi and TV channels limited.

Nice outside areas inside dated

Bed linen never changed in the 10 nights we stayed we did not know they were renewing paths drilling from 7.30am till 4 dust everywhere

Nice large space, clean and tidy. Always helpful on main reception desk. Cleaners every other day. Pool was clean, had a great experience with the family. Pool table - kids loved it.

It could do with a revamp, the decor was dated and the kitchen could do with upgrading however it was all usable.

Pool was dirty, there was insects everywhere and the whole place needed TLC. Very tired property. Also not very good for people with disabilities...eg wheelchairs/mobility users

Plenty of space.. brilliant location

The weather was fantastic 20C to 24C the whole time during the day and not much wind. Plenty of towels were provided Cleaners kept the bathroom clean, and it was ok The washing machine Dishwasher (although we had to by our own tablets) Position.....very handy for supermarket, bars & restaurants at the end of the road.

The villa was not VIP in any way at all, and in its description it was not mentioned that the bedrooms and bathroom were not connected to the living room and had doors to the outside so to visit the bathroom at night you had to go outside onto the patio at the front of the house in full view of anyone passing. I would have hated to have had children with me as you would have either had to lock them into their bedroom or have them sleeping in a room open to the outside...not very safe at all! It didn't feel very secure, and I heard there were many break-ins and actually saw police arresting a man one early evening. Our pool was not filled up for our arrival and was dirty, we arrived Saturday evening no-one came to fill it or clean it till Tuesday although I had informed reception on the Sunday. They then came to fill the pool and forgot about turning it off so the surrounding area flooded. The kitchen was woefully inadequate for self-catering, it only had one socket so you couldn't make tea and toast at the same time and the toaster had black electrician's tape wrapped round it which I didnt feel was safe, I brought this to the receptions attention and they said it would be replaced but it never was. There was no coffee maker, just a teapot without a lid. There were no ice cube trays in the freezer, no cloth or cleaning stuff for the kitchen benches and since the cleaner only came every other day I would have thought they were essential. The only knives for food prep were 2 large carving knives and a cleaver?? The furniture was old and uncomfortable, the paint/ varnish was peeling off both the indoor and outdoor tables and people had carved their initials in the outdoor one. The exterior wall of the living room was not a wall at all it was wooden planks which had gaps which you could see the light coming through, thank goodness the weather was good, if it had been cold (which it has been on other stays in other accommodation) we would have frozen.
