Vip Villas - Caleta Dorada

We loved the private pool, the pool table and whirlpool bath. We loved the location and huge amount of space provided - it felt very private and we could really let our hair down as a family. Someone came to look after the pool each day and we recieved fresh towels even though we were only there for 3 nights.

There were damp patches under the stairs, in the games room. There were also a lot of cobwebs on the ceiling in the games room.

Villas were great. Having your own private pool was amazing. Large villa so much space. New mattresses were comfy on the beds

Sofas could be updated. Would be nice to get some better lighting for the pool area

The weather

These are not vip villas as advertised, they are at least 20 years past due a revamp. Place looks old, tatty, jacuzzi bath didn't work, again so old. Pool cues missing tips, net ripped off the pockets, the balls just go everywhere, barbecue didn't work. Bathroom and kitchen look like they are prime 1987. Avoid

Nice Villa situated on a corner. Did not feel hemmed in. Although fairly near a noisy bar, it was quiet after 10:30 to 11pm

We didn’t have a key to each bedroom ( they opened up to the outside)

The private pool table in the basement and the private pool were brilliant to have on holiday. The villa was spotless and was in a perfect location for the centre, beach etc which were only a five minute walk away. The lights around the pool were not working when we arrived so I informed reception and someone came to fix this within twenty mins!

We first stayed at the villas 25 years ago and the decor has not changed since then however the villa is clean and tidy. The paint is falling off the walls as you go to the basement and there was no bbq. If I had asked for one I am sure I would have been given one.

Location was brill .all inclusive option was brilliant

Pool was far too cold and villa needs updating beds very un comfortable

Good value for money. Great location. Had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

Property a little tired but has a real Fuertaventurian feel. Towels changed regularly but no bed linen change in an 11,day stay was disappointing.

The name is misleading, these villas may have been VIP back in the day when they were built and have the real potential to be great again if renovated. Great space for families, fantastic ocean view (villa no 1). Own pool. Had all the essentials to self cater if needed.

Not a lot, the villa grew on me throughout the week and we had a comfortable stay, just very tired and dated, shabby in places.
