Villa Camotes

We had a very comfortable stay. It was quiet and the atmosphere was just very lovely. It was super relaxing. It is a secluded property, so it felt like you're at home and kinda not. Fresh air, you could see all the colors of nature. There were 2 lovely and very friendly dogs, Brownie and Hershey. They always came to us to play or just to greet us! Plus, Ate Mercy, the prettiest and nicest Host I've ever met. She even guided us to the shortcut, where the small stores were. She was always ready to help or accomodate us, if ever we've needed something. She felt like a friend to us! She always made sure we felt safe! (Cause we were 3 young ladies travelling)

I like the property itself. Relaxing place with pool and good access to the beach. Mercy and Oppa are very helpful and approachable. Place was very clean, good breakfast. Feels like home.

I would suggest to provide the number of ate mercy once there is a confirmed booking already for communication purposes

Mercy and her husband gave us a very warm welcome. They keep the property very clean and are there to help with whatever is needed. Small convenient shops, beach and restaurants in walking distance. For anything further away you can rent scooters or tricycles. My husband, toddler and me really loved our stay and are happy to come again.

Around July there is a lot of algae at the private beach, so we didn't like swimming there (not the properties fault they did their best to clean it up). In the end, it wasn't a big deal at all, because in just 10min walking distance there was Santiago public beach, which was quite enjoyable. And at other / cooler times of the year you shouldn't be bothered with algae anyway. Still worth staying at Villa Camotes anytime - the view alone is fantastic.

The villa is a dream. The view is fantastic. The crew is welcoming and accommodating at all times. The rooms are not very big but that is not necessary as we were outside most of the time anyway. Camotes is a nice village. Mercy is a good cook and the food is delicious!

The beach is unfortunately not very tidy (rubbish). but a short walk away is the beautiful santiago beach

fabulous garden, breathtaking view from swimming pool, direct access by stairs to the small beach , great snorkeling just in a front of the hotel, peaceful location with birds singing , free water, delicious breakfast , friendly and polite hosts, villa was of a good size with comfortable beds

Isolated location - you have to be a good driver (scooter or bike ) , road is really bumpy , no shops nearby, or decent restaurants ( not a problem if you drive )

Clean pool with seaview and steps down to the private beach. Well maintained garden. We want to highlight the super service of Mercy and Opa. They organized everything for us. Motorcycle and even transfer at 3am to the ferry port. Salamat kaayo para tanan :-)

Spectacular view. The host was very accommodating and very pleasant. Hersheys (dog) was placid...it was a bonus.

Everything was just perfect. Even we checked in 4hour before check in time the wonderful mercy and oppah managed to host us perfectly and even sing some karaoke with us at the beautiful pool. Rooms are very clean, breakfast is outstanding, the view is breathtaking and the friendly dogs are the cherry on the top. Definitely will come back
