We have just returned from a week at Rooms & Suites Princesa Mercedes. We were expecting the villa to be very nice but it easily exceeded our expectations. The villa was spotlessly clean, was well furnished and everything worked as it should. The WIFI was fast and the villa was equipped with a smart TV so it was easy to sign into any TV subscriptions . There is lots of outdoor space for sunbathing or dining. The beach is very close and the shops and restaurants of Matagorda can be easily reached with a short walk. The host always responded quickly to any queries, either through booking.com or Whatsapp. We would happily stay here again and hope to do so.

Jorge is an excellent host and was so polite and helpful, I hope to return in the future. Super clean, comfortable, modern. Lots of space indoor and outdoor areas. All day sun outdoors, both front and back of property. Plenty of sun loungers and a very good large parasol. Lovely shaded outdoor dining area. All equipment in excellent condition, felt brand new. I required no additional equipment whatsoever, everything I needed is here including hob cooker , separate oven , microwave , tv, air con, washing machine, bed linen and towels both for shower and beach supplied. Desk space to ‘work from home’. Lots of storage room for clothes etc. So silent at night time was helpful for good sleep. As a solo traveler I felt very safe and secure with alarm system and private locked entrance gate. Well stocked shop 1minute walk across road. Promenade for walking , shops , restaurants just about 5 mins walk.

Welcoming and helpful host, Jorge. The accommodation had everything that you need like a home from home. Excellent security system and air conditioning. Lots of space outside to choose from for relaxing or eating, very clean and tidy.
