Rooms & Suites Princesa Mercedes - Puerto del Carmen, Lanzarote - Near the Beach

The villa was beautifully presented with a lovely outside area. Really well equipped with everything you need. Communication was excellent with Jorge, very simple process from start to finish and we would highly recommend staying in any property owned by Jorge.

Just a few minor comments, but did not affect our stays, nice to haves; Somew extra kitchen ware plates, small bowels, cutlery, glasses, would be nice, we had to load dishwasher every day, Small table in the garden for the loungers-we had to keep out sunscreen/drinks on ground An extra sun parasol, would be great if there was 4 in apartment we were ok as we were 2 A mat arounf the kitchen sink, saves floor from splashes

We've just enjoyed three wonderful weeks at The Princess's Mercedes at Matagorda. We found the semi-detached villa very clean and well maintained. The manager, Jorge, was welcoming and friendly. There is little to faulty about the villa. It's a short walk down to the popular Commercial Centre where there are many good restaurants to chose from. If, like we occasionally did, you fancy eating a takeaway at the villa, there is a nice Kebab and Burger restaurant that is open until 2:00 am most days. If you want to make food at the villa, there is a small double ring electric hob and a few pans available. Most of the basic cutlery, plates, cups and glasses are in the cupboards. A convenient dishwasher is easy to use and some tablets were supplied, though we bought more when they run out. The villa also has a washing machine, that has become essential for us with our long stays on the island. Of course, there is drying facilities and an iron and board, if you're inclined to want to do that! The beds are extremely comfortable and we had undisturbed sleeps every night. Though there is only an air conditioning unit in the lounge/kitchen area, there are ceiling fans in the bedrooms, offering light relief for the warmer nights. The outside areas are well maintained. Artificial grass covered areas means comfort underfoot. There were four reasonable sunbeds and one parasol. Also there's an under cover area with table and chairs for sitting out for the end of day drink. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the villa and would highly recommend it. The following pros and cons really are just nitpicking. PROS Comfortable, spacious & reasonably equipped. Very quiet location Well maintained and secured with easy use alarm. Very private Small but well stocked Spar just 1 minute from villa (closed on Mondays) Short 10 minute walk to nearby restaurants etc. Fast wifi

Only quiet if your neighbours are too. Very powerful shower but drains are slow to remove water. The sunbeds are very comfortable, though do make sure you fix the recliner part fully in position. Ours collapsed several times due to not being fully in position.

Fabulous property. Really good layout. Very comfortable. Outside eating area fabulous. Sun beds very comfortable. We felt very safe in this property.

The villa was excellent very clean and modern.we loved all the outside space .Kitchen was well equipped everything you would need.Jorge was very efficient before we arrived sending pictures so we were able to find the villa when we arrived in taxi .we were meet by Jorge minuets after arriving and he showed use all around the villa.we will recommend it to all our friends and will definitely return.
