Bon Ton Antique Wooden Villas

Private, peaceful and relaxing. Typically Malaysian heritage villas, very spacious. Friendly, helpful and welcoming staff. Nam restaurant at Bon Ton served delicious meals, wine and beer. Affiliated with animal rescue, lots of cats and dogs on site made us feel very at home.

Mosque nearby broadcasts singing / prayers, sometimes late at night and early morning. This can disturb sleep.

Villa war sehr groß. Vollständig ausgestattet. Extrem freundliches Personal. Sehr gute Lage. Anlage/Grundstück war sehr gepflegt/sauber. Idee von Frühstück war super, dass es jeden Abend ins Zimmer gebracht wird. Das Frühstück an sich war immer nur sehr süß (wenig Variation). Die Villa war gegen Mücken bestens ausgerüstet!

Die Hütte ist ein wenig Renovierungsbedürftig (Tür Riegel sind verrostet und schwer zum lösen, Gefahr von klemmen und Verletzungen sind hoch) Da die Hütte sehr traditionell gebaut ist, gibt es leider einige größere Spalten, wo kleine Besucher in die Hütte gelangen können.

Authentic beautiful traditional Malay houses but uneven levels between rooms. Good food in the restaurant but the menu gets a bit boring after 3 days (needs a little more variation over a week.

Mosquitos! No reading lights by the bed which made it awkward getting up in the night to go to the bathroom grovelling round in the dark for a switch without banging into something. About a mile out of Cenang but you can walk via the path to Anchor point via the fishing station which is interesting.

Quiet location but close to the main town. Beautiful rooms, lovely breakfast delivered to the room. We ate in the restaurant a couple of times and it was really good. Very pleasant and helpful staff. A really unique property.

The location, the staff, the accommodation, everything. It was a little piece of pure heaven. I’m already plotting how I can get there. I have never stayed anywhere so absolutely perfect. Thank you for making our stay so wonderful
