Promised Land Retreat

Manager was wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble. Landscape was just as described in the name of the property.

Not enough mountain bikes for us all to ride together.

Very quite but well presented by Suzie and John. In the morning, kangaroos wake us up, we were sitting on balcony with cup of tea and watching the mist transform into clouds. It’s not planned on our list but end up being the most memorable! Truly special along the way, perfect for relaxation and connection with nature.

Hotwater does need sometime to refill

We stayed in the Bower chalet for 2 nights - the views were lovely, the chalet was clean and well-equipped, and the bed was super comfy. It is in a stunning location - only a few minutes away from the Never Never River and a 10-15 minute drive from Bellingen. The chalet was very tastefully decorated with plenty of places to sit and relax both inside and outside, and we loved the morning sun that streamed through the floor to ceiling windows!

Everything. Peaceful, relaxing and serene. If you want solitude and silence then this is the place to stay!

When we used the oven/grill it smoked due to oven cleaner build up. No biggy, just used the BBQ instead.
