Everything. Well appointed 1-bedroom apartment with full kitchen. Fabulous views from the windows and lots of outdoor lawn furniture. Receptive host. Great value.

It’s a 10 minute walk uphill from the apartment to the train station.

The views!! The views from the terrace garden were breathtaking!

The walk from the chalet to the Wengen train station can be challenging with luggage as it's an uphill.

The amazing views of the mountains and nearby waterfalls from Chalet Protea were such a highlight. Our hosts were lovely and welcoming, and the place was perfect for our time in Wengen. It was very easy to feel at home and the chalet was well stocked with cooking utensils, oil/seasonings, etc. to allow for home-cooked meals as well. We were able to complete a load of laundry (with dryer) for 5 euros which was convenient too. We wished we could stay longer and we would love to come back, and would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a memorable stay in the Jungfrau region.
