"Gorgeous place, amazing stay for two!"

This place is absolutely beautiful (especially during autumn)! The outdoor bath was relaxing and just hit the right spot. However I would add a light above the bath to allow us to enjoy the bath during the darker hours. The views from every window were absolutely breathtaking. It was just the right place for us to switch off and relax.

Peace & quiet, tranquil. Outdoor fireplace was great with the rocking chair a nice touch. Very little house on the prairie feel. First night was a clear sky and the amount of stars visible compared to Glasgow was amazing.

The access road wasn't expected, glad I had an SUV with plenty of ground clearance. If I had this property I would install a retractable wind breaker around the outdoor area as the wind chill prevented my wife using it. My wife loves the heat and the c/heating was great but no thermostat to control it so had to switch it on/off manually.

The cottage is a great layout and lovely interior. Great location for some peace too. It was really well equipped and the outdoor fire was lovely on an evening. The owner was really helpful and gave some really great local tips .

we had a fantastic relaxing stay, heartland was very clean and furnished lovely. Bed was very comfy. & had everything we needed for our 3 night stay. The outdoor bath tub just added to the uniqueness of this property and the view was simply stunning. Hosts were friendly and helpful and gave lovely recommendations, we managed to go to the ship inn for lunch and the crusoe hotel for dinner and drinks. Was a fabulous weekend. Thanks.

Couldn’t fault the property at all had a fab stay!
