GBGood value for money if just want a base for walking/ R&R. Great location for a break away from everyday stress, nice views, peaceful and perfect for countryside walks. All provided facilities good, good space for up to four, would be squeeze after that. Warm and cozy in all areas except one bedroom has no heating but didn’t use it anyway so wasn’t bothered, comfortable bed and sofas. Owner friendly but not intrusive, left useful cleaning supplies & handwash for all sinks, plus some tea/coffee making supplies & a delicious cake.
Would guess that cabin is probably quite old and looks tired-some fittings and furniture functional but dated, decking & rails need maintenance, garden a bit overgrown, messy & neglected. Most-used surfaces inside the cabin appeared clean, but lots of dust, cobwebs & dead critters in places that were harder to reach-eg. windows, room corners, behind furniture, etc. Looks like it needs some TLC but good value for what it provides.

The taps didn't operate smoothly - requiring more effort to completely shut off the water.
