Loved the secluded peaceful location. Surrounded by nature. We saw badgers in the garden and new forest ponies came up to the gate with their foals. Very clean accommodation with everything we needed. The surrounding area is lovely and was easy to get a boat ferry to I O W after a short drive to Southampton.

Great location

It was very cosy and comfortable . The beds very comfy with soft linen . Very rustic , with views of the woods in every direction , lots of natural light. Very peaceful and quiet , with sounds of the stream , birds, pheasants , badgers. And ponies that visit every day. Perfect for couples , friends and families. Well stocked kitchen and nice outdoor seating under cover too which is handy if wet and for muddy wellies. At the top of the path you can go straight onto a walk for a couple of miles or even up into the woods at the top. There’s also a garden for the kids to run around that’s on a slope. The weather was a bit wet and chilly on our arrival day but the cabin was heated beautifully .

The only issue is we did have a power cut the first night but the owners were very responsive and it was sorted out very quickly . It didn’t ruin anything.

Secluded but full of beautiful wildlife with evening visits from Badgers. Children were in their element, and we all loved it. Proper back to nature, and listening to the birds and babbling brook was a relaxing treat. Staff were lovely and low-key.

Nothing at all. It was better than expected, and there was even milk in the fridge.

Amazing location, so much wildlife and great walks right next to Cabin. Cabin is so homely and comfortable and log burner was wonderful and kept us really warm. Great hosts 🌟

This place is absolutely stunning in every way, perfect location surrounded by woods and wildlife. The log cabin is immaculate and so comfortable and cozy, a little home away from home did not want to leave. The hosts are also very welcoming and friendly. Will def be paying another visit.
