The Cabin at The Oaks

Peaceful. Relaxing. A haven for a retreat 🥰

The cabin was gorgeous and quiet right in the middle of the forest. The bed was comfortable and the bedlinen was so soft. The wood burning fire kept us warm and cozy.

There was nothing bad at all.

Location was perfect and exactly as described tucked away in the woods, very quiet and private. A perfect base to go exploring in the New Forest.

Although the cabin is comfy & cozy, it is a little dated and could use some freshening up. When we arrived, the dishwasher was still full and the grill pan hadn't been cleaned from the previous visitors. We wanted to use the log burner (it was freezing outside) but despite the abundance of logs provided as well as fire lighters, there was no kindling so try as I might, I couldn't get it to light.

The cabin is beautiful as the location. Everything you need is included.

Not profesional cleaning, maybe the bed and towels, the rest superficial. We found the oven tray dirty with rests of food, the bin in the bedroom was filled from the previous guests, and the barbacue was disgusting, we couldn't use it.

Beautiful scenery and lots of wildlife. Exactly what you need to rest your mind. Lovely hosts, everything you need for a peaceful escape xx

This place is amazing. So lovely for couples as a romantic getaway. Or friends. We had an amazing stay. Lovely place for walks, wildlife, down time and close to the pub.

Nothing can't fault it.
