The cottage was very clean, Ron takes real pride in his cottages. Everyday had wood left on the porch for the wood fire. The only thing we needed to bring was our food and clothes and phone chargers. Everything was supplied.

There was nothing to complain about.

Old style farmhouse with wooden floors, clean facilities, log fire, (pre-lit by the host!). Beautiful grounds. Even a bowl of fresh fruit. Had a great winter's stay, rain or shine.

Nothing major, but just so other know, while sleeps 5 there are only 4 seats, we brought our spare camp chair.

Fairly quiet and easy to get to location

We got a bit cold, the heaters and the fire did help

Absolutely loved the stay here.. the fire was lite before we got there..fresh seasonal fruit on table.. electric blankets and good linen. Kitchen fully supplied with everything you need and some..(excluding food of course) . wood stacked ready to go at back door.. very clean.. great water pressure in bathroom with lovely fresh cut flowers.. its a old cottage but very very comfortable and private 😀 just loved everything about it 🥰❣and the views are awesome.. so peaceful and quiet. I could live there in a heartbeat lol... town a 3min drive away..

Beautiful location and great owner

Woodlands is abundant with wildlife and meandering country nature walks . The well maintained landscape is a great attribute to Ron's Attention to detail and passion for country living , the homestead has that down south farmhouse charm that truly soothes the soul for deep rest , away from the hustle and bustle of the city , The fireplace is was on when our group arrived with plenty of firewood. We were all excited to eat the fresh seasonal fruit that Ron had left for us ! The sunset and sunrise from the top of the valley is breathtaking, be prepared to share your fresh fruit with the birds and Kangaroo that are chasing the warmth of the sun in the morning up there . The electric blankets are are welcoming touch in the winter months, the cold was definitely worth the view ! Can't wait to visit again 10 out of 10 ❤

Everything was comforting and well prepared. Iwould book for a longer stay next time , none of my family and friends wanted to leave !
