Aldgate Creek Cottage

This was the stay that had everything. All mod cons, sparkling clean, great contacts with the hosts, beautiful garden and top location.

The breakfast provided was phenomenal - everything was locally sourced, fresh and delicious. Terry met us to give us the keys, and was wonderfully friendly and accommodating, showing us how all appliances worked and assuring us to reach out if we needed anything at all. We can't wait to come back!

On seeing the property for the first time, it took our breath away. Tranquil, set is beautiful gardens and close to amenities. Terry and Fiona were amazing hosts and provided us with the bus timetable and some suggestions of places to visit. The breakfast provisions and bottle of wine went down really well. Would recommend a stay at Aldgate Creek Cottage.

Schitterend gelegen in de Adelaide Hills. Dichtbij veel wineries en Hahndorf. Cottage was van alle gemakken voorzien en veel restaurants op wandelafstand.

The cottage was set in the most amazing gardens, beautifully tended to, with lots of discoveries to be made when wandering around the grounds. The cottage itself was roomy and comfortable with everything you could need provided. It was within an easy stroll to shops and eateries which we enjoyed. The hosts were kind and accommodating and made us feel very welcome.

This property and the hosts exceeded our expectations and ticked all the boxes. Beautifully fitted out with all mod cons you could possibly want, and two balcony areas, plus a lovely creek flowing past that you can sit by. Set into the side of a little hill, the garden was also a delight, with a small bridge over the creek that leads to a lovely old pub opposite (very good food).The continental breakfast provided was very tasty and plentiful with lots of choices. The village is central for exploring the beautiful surrounds, and only 30 minutes from Adelaide CBD. The hosts have a fountain of knowledge about what to see and do, and 3 nights isn't really enough. Overall a delightful stay, and great value for money as well

We had a 5* star at Aldgate Creek Cottage. Terry was very welcoming and provided plenty of guidance and recommendations if needed. The cottage is fully equipped with everything you'd need, is clean and spotless, and the gardens/surrounds are serene and so peaceful. When they say it's central, they mean central withing Aldgate. We had an amazing couple of days stay at Algate Creek Cottage. An absolutely gorgeous cottage with beautiful gardens and lovely hosts, the owner Terry met us on arrival and showed us through this beautiful property making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The location was perfect, the view from the front deck superb, we enjoyed the complementary bottle of pink bubbles. A lovely old Pub and bottle shop directly across the street, a southern American style restaurant where I had the best southern fried chicken burger ever right next door, what more could you ever want. We loved our stay at Algate Creek Cottage and will defiantly come back again. Highly recommended.
