The staff was very helpful and kind, however we expected a higer service level (making the room, automatic water refills etc.) considering the price. Overall still a very nice experience.

The road to the hotel was very scary, especially in the dark. That’s a reason I would not stay there anymore. Also the location was really far from Ella city.

One of our best stays on Sri Lanka! Stuff amazing, they offering free pick up and drop off for check in and check out. Owners will do everything for you to make your holidays easy and smooth! We asked for tuk tuk for round trip, they found best price for us, we asked about taxi to Yala - they found the best price for us. Anything we need they helped with! And you are in the middle of forest, no rush, just trees, monkeys and few other animals. Really nice stay we enjoyed and would recommend to everybody. Thank you again for everything you did for us.

Beautiful setting surrounded by nature with the sound of a nearby waterfall, completely removed from the touristy/crowded Ella town. Staff were great at taking us on walks and trips to Ella rock/waterfalls. Rooms very unique and tastefully decorated with excellent outdoor space to relax in. Yoga session was also brilliant.

Chalet room needed more of a dust in places i.e window sills. Sometimes it was confusing to know who to message at hotel, one line of communication for all things would have been better.

A beautiful setting with lovely views of a huge waterfall

The patio had been painted and the paint didn't dry over the time we were there, leading to white paint on the bottom of feet and shoes. The waterfall was beautiful as was everything about the retreat however the bed was so damp due to the humidity - didn't stop us sleeping though!

Nature at it's best, really in the forest and close to one of the waterfalls. Noise from water falling was a nice 'white' noise during the night

A bit chilly , but we have used the heater in the room.

Staff were so lovely, drove us in tuk tuk into town and were very hospitable and friendly.

Not the fault of the property owners at all, but we were there for a very rainy night and encountered a few leeches on the front outdoor area of the room. The door into the bedroom is not sealed from outdoors also, although mosquito nets are on bed. Definitely something we personally should have been prepared for booking a room in nature, just bring appropriate shoes/pants!
