Luxury, rural Shepherds Hut with hot tub nr Bath

Great location and easy walking distance to a couple of pubs. We visited the Travellers Rest which was about 15 mins walk away and the food was incredible. Great little property with everything we wanted for a romantic get away

This shepherds hut simply is beautiful. Everything is beautifully simple but the little touches are there. The bed was extremely comfortable to get great nights sleep, and the hot tub is amazing.

The shepherds hut is a little close to the owners property, despite this it does not feel over looked at all. The property is not the easiest to find, however the host goes out of their way to make this as easy as possible, being a rural property Sat Navs are not much help.

We absolutely loved the location and comfort offered at Bye Mills Farm. we both slept brilliantly as the bed was super comfy and there’s zero noise pollution due to the countryside setting. The hot tub was always perfect temperature and really helped us feel super relaxed. With stunning views of the English countryside, farm animals and pretty gardens it’s the perfect place to unwind and get away from the hustle and bustle of regular life. In the evenings it was super peaceful sat around the fire pit with BBQ facilities and log burner available for use. Anne was extremely welcoming on arrival and gave us a taste of what the local area had to offer. This included some juicy Asparagus home grown she kindly gave us. Pensford village is a short walk following the river which overs more views of the countryside and just adds to the peacefulness of the whole experience. We enjoyed a fantastic Sunday dinner at George & Dragon. On the whole a really relaxing stay and will definitely be returning.

Absolutely nothing it was perfect

Fabulous peaceful Setting and wonderful local walks, really nice and comfortable accommodation. Good hot tub and lovely wood burner. Outside lighting made for a relaxed and romantic atmosphere while using the hot tub.

We'd recommend adding a fence on the left hand side of the hut to improve privacy levels and avoid feeling overlooked, which wouldn't hamper the views as it would just need to be on the side where the main house is, not directly in front. I personally didn't feel comfortable using the hot tub in daylight for this reason. We would also recommend adding a TV in the hut, especially when the weather is bad and walks aren't an option. The WiFi signal was intermittent. A welcome hamper would set this as ' Luxury'.

Beautiful hut with all you need to relax. Bed was so comfy. Hot tub was bliss although felt it was a little over looked. Could do with some tall shrubs

The setting was serene and so peaceful. There was plenty to do locally even if you didn't want to drive far. The hut was warm and cozy even in October. Oh and the bed was so comfy with a great view out the window. The sunrise eluded us but as mentioned it was October.

There's nothing I didn't like. We could've thought more carefully about what meals we tried to prepare using the simple cooking facilities provided but that was our lack of planning. Everything was as described.
