Route 40

The kitchen was well equipped although it would have been great to have salt pepper and oil. I really appreciated that coffee and tea was available though. I also enjoyed the privacy.

The lounge is very dark, wifi was barely strong enough to send a WhatsApp message and the inverter in the main bedroom was really noisy and shined a lot of light.

What a pleasant surprise we had! We decided to stay 2 nights at Route 40 before heading into Balule. This place is great if you rent out all the chalets with a big group of family or friends as the main area with the boma, pool and entertainment is fantastic to get together with friends and family. But even renting one chalet for a family alone is fantastic as you still have your own patio, braai facilities, and privacy. The place is well maintained and clean. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back.
