Treur River Lodge

O café da manha era a parte, mas era uma delicia! E as funcionarias muito queridas e educadas

Nao conseguimos ligar o aquecedor. Mas tirando isso nada a reclamar. Ele não tem uma grande infraestrutura e fica em um lugar mais remoto, mas é isso que ele entrega mesmo. Então foi otimo!

Cet hébergement est très original, près de la nature, au milieu de la nature. La décoration n'est pas ostentatoire mais en harmonie avec le site. Très confortable Près des sites à visiter et des randonnées Nous avons passé un séjour très sympa

Le chalet face a la rivière. Le lieu est très beau et c’est paisible. Il faisait froid lors de notre séjour, mais on peut se baigner dans la rivière. On peut aussi prendre un tube pour se promener sur la rivière. Tres réceptifs et répondent rapidement à nos questions.

L'horaire pour avoir de l’eau chaude et prendre sa douche. Système un peu compliqué pour les repas du souper.

De locatie is in the middle of nowhere, maar dat weet je als je hier boekt. Mooie rivier en uitzichten. Restaurant heeft lekker eten en hele lekkere milkshakes.

Ondanks dat we wisten dat we naar een accommodatie gingen waar niet teveel toeters en bellen zijn, viel ons dat toch tegen. Warm water kun je volgens de borden tussen 6 en 8 uur gebruiken, maar zowel 's ochtends als 's avonds hebben we geen warm water gekregen in die periode. Ook de elektriciteit laat te wensen over, we moesten zelf al een aantal stoppen in de meterkast een paar keer omzetten, en 's nachts is de elektriciteit zelfs helemaal uit gegaan. Je loopt de houten vloer met naden helemaal vol met zand dat om de huisjes heen ligt. We hebben geen bezem of iets dergelijks gezien om dat op te lossen.

No breakfast taken nor ordered. What I liked was the peace and tranquility. Totally no noise, very peaceful.

NO HOT WATER. We could neither shower for the night nor for the morning. We had to wash at a facility near our final destination - a funeral. The basin in the bathroom did not have a plug. We could therefor not even use that. Tea and coffee supplied but no hot water . Gas stove , yellow enamel kettle and matches provided but no gas supply. We could not go outside because I WAS BITTEN BY THEIR DOG whilst offloading my suitcases. They did undertake to pay for the necessary injections of tetanus though. Invoice will be sent as soon as I receive it from the Doctor.
