"Relaxing, beautiful but just too short take in everything!"

The clear guidance from the Receptionist and her always availability on WhatsApp. The stunning river, atmosphere of nature and calmness of the river water running over the stones!

Nothing really, everything was there what was needed to make your stay comfortable.

"A riverside private retreat"

Breathtaking position right on the banks of the river with great mountain views. The accommodation is spacious and so well and tastfully quipped. Very privately situated. It is so well situated between Ceres and Tulbagh which gives one easy access to wine farms and breathtaking scenery. An absolute jem.

The toilets, shower and bath, while attached to the living quarters, are only accessible from the verandah. No problem during the day, but not so great at night when you have to go out in the cold to use the toilet. An easy building alteration could remedy this. Nothing else not to like.

The location with blossoming orchards on the one side and a river in flood on the other side, was spectacular

It was extremely cold, windy and rainy during our visit. The toilets and bathrooms are outside the cottage, making you ice cold after a hot shower and the same if you have to get out of a warm bed to use a toilet in the middle of the night in the very cold conditions.
