The River Siding

We loved being right down by the river. And due to the sound of the running water in the river, we couldn't hear the noisy machine on the farm nearby. It was so lovely and relaxing, we thoroughly enjoyed the restful stay we had.

The double bed was hard, uncomfortable, and a bit small. I'm quite a tall guy, 6'4, and my feet hung over the end. Then when we woke up in the mornings, we were quite stiff from the mattress. Also, not having the bathroom attached directly to the rondavel itself posed a bit of a problem. Every time you need to shower, or go to the loo, then you've got to walk outside in the rain.

The view was spectacular !

The security of not having direct access to the bathrooms during the night. Very close to major highways.

Loved the fact that you are just a few steps away from the river. The bird life is phenomenal. Stunning walks through the orchards. A bonus is the cottage is pet friendly

This place never disappoints, every year in winter and summer, The Perfect little luxury hideaway for couples..we loved everything about this place, the fact that the Rondawel we stayed in was situated by the foot of the river with the sounds of flowing water was a natural sleeping aid :) everything was cozy and comfortable. it has everything you need and thank you for the complimentary wood.

Lovely location at the foot of the mountain range of Wolseley. Beautiful river running infront of the log cabin. It has everything one needs for a peaceful and luxurious stay.

The chimney Haan, made a noise, probably just needs oil. The aircon in our room did not work main bedroom.
