Barrington Barn

Very pretty building and in the beautiful garden of the owner.

As we stayed during very hot weather, we found the barn very overheated inside. We understand that it would’ve been hot wherever we stayed but it could’ve been made easier if there was a suitable electric fan to use. (A fan was listed as included at the property but unfortunately there wasn’t one) With the bedroom being on a mezzanine level it was far too hot at night to sleep in there. The owner was away during our stay so we were unable to ask for a fan. Had we stayed during cooler weather I’m sure we would’ve loved the coziness of the barn.

Everything was great, amazing garden, lovely space.

Nothing not to like. Kitchen basic but fine. Not good phone signal but good WiFi.

I loved the fireplace and the upstairs with the big window to watch the sun rise from bed , it had everything we needed

Nothing except the lanes its quite narrow in places and thats nothing to do with the property , I think a little plug in heater in the bunk bed room may help its quite cold in there

The property is very unique and located in a lovely setting. The stove is lovely feature although all parts of the accommodation were very warm and cosy. Spacious and relaxing surroundings. Off street parking space very convenient.

Beautiful rustic barn, lots of space, great log burner, exceptionally warm, lovely host, off street parking.

Only downside would be no window covering upstairs wasn’t major issue due to the time of year but I would imagine in the summer the light would wake you.

Een eigen huisje met een prachtige tuin. In het huisje was alles aanwezig om heerlijk te kunnen ontspannen en een fijne tijd te hebben. Het is echt een aanrader! De eigenaresse is heel vriendelijk en haar hondje de allerleukste. Wij zijn geen honden gewend en daar hield Janet goed rekening mee. Erg fijn!

How quirky and large the barn was and set in such a beautiful garden. Janet was friendly but allowed myself and my family our privacy.
