Barrington Barn

We have been 4 times now, a lovely peaceful place for a break, and our dogs love the beautiful garden.

The location was fab! So peaceful at the cottage. Baby gates provided and lovely little table and chairs for the little one. Loved the fact it was set back from the road so there was no noise from cars etc. (But be mindful that you have to take a few trips back and forth to unpack and pack the car - luckily it was dry and the little one stayed asleep when we had to do this)

Could have done with some basics like washing up liquid and a top up of the tea and coffee, but nothing that couldn't be picked up when we went back out.

Depending on what you're looking for, location might not be the best. You will need a car. However, I wanted a quiet, peaceful break which this place is perfect for what I wanted. Amazingly helpful and welcoming.

The decor and furniture was very tired Faulty plug to main lamp so could not be used No smart TV No instructions/guidance as to local shop or facilities etc Overall the place just needs a bit of money spending on it and updating, with improved kitchen, bathroom, mattresses etc

The kitchen was very usable, in fact whole dinners were made and breakfasts. The oven and the utensils were great.

The main bed was a little uncomfortable.

Quiet location, friendly welcoming host.
