Hi the place was fantastic and they was helpful

There was no path in and out so you needed wellies

Janet was so lovely and even let my daughter and I stay longer as we missed the first 2 nights due to unexpected work commitments. The area is quiet and beautiful and you have everything you need at the property. will be returning soon, Sharon

The property reminds me of a fairytale house! The owner was kind and respectful, sleep was amazing, peace and quiet. Wonderful to hear grasshoppers after life in the city. Kids loved to stay there . Recommend this place .

The location was stunning for what we needed - a complete break from the hustle and bustle of life. The village had lovely walks (too hot for us to take the pooches out very far though) and the Barrington Boar did fab drinks (can’t comment on the food but it looked tasty if a bit posh!) We paid £420 for a week and it was remarkable value for money - Janet was very friendly and checked in regularly with us. We also liked there being no WiFi and poor signal for the phones (not sure the teenagers agree with us on this one!) I was impressed with the cutlery, crockery and utensils in the property and how well Janet has catered for small children. Would recommend taking your own board games as a bit of entertainment! Beautiful glass doors and a south facing garden are stunning but we were glad we took a fan following previous comments.

Whilst we found the property to be good value for money, it felt like it needed a little TLC ie the mattresses could probably do with replacing and a good clean (lots of dust and spiders webs) but acknowledge that the property’s beautiful high ceilings make this tricky! But it wouldn’t put us off visiting again!
