Very peaceful and quiet. We were free to come and go as we liked. We didn't have to clean or hoover before we left!

Toilet area slightly cramped especially the small hand basin. Difficult to avoid getting water on floor when brushing teeth 😁

Had an absolutely beautiful stay this weekend. Cosy. Warm and very clean. Everything you need is available for a self catering stay. Would definitely return ...hopefully for longer next time.

The cabin is amazing, beautifully decorated, very stylish and comfortable. It is very well equipped with everything needed for a great stay.

My only negatives would be the light coming through the blinds and sky light when the security lights come on and early in the morning. Also the toilet seat is unstable and slips to one side.

Absolutely beautiful lodge in a great location, just a short walk into Newcastle. We explored the Mournes, Kilbroney and down to Carlingford on this trip. The lodge is well equipped, so so cosy and beautiful finishing touches! Thank you

"Absolutely brilliant and a very wholesome stay."

The location was fabulous for hiking and also for dandering into town. It was a quiet location and the hosts weren't imposing at all and very helpful. The cabin is beautiful and easy to heat with the heating or with the log fire, I would definitely recommend bringing logs as it really made the stay.

The only thing that would make it 11/10 instead of a 10/10 would be a shower as well as a bath.

It was so comfy, clean and perfect. Absolutely loved the lodge. The bath was great. Location was about 15 mins walk to Donard car park.
