"Gorgeous, comfortable place to stay on Hospital Hill, surrounded by trees"

Super luxurious and comfort place for a special stay. Loved the bird song in the mornings and the lovely furnishings. The snack board and breakfast supplies were a beautiful and thoughtful touch to make our stay perfect. The location was handy for popping into town (by car) and walking around the botanical gardens. Access was super easy and the instructions and welcome letter were great, with thoughtful recommendations

everything. well designed, charming and cozy. lots of thoughtful touches that add to the feeling that you are in a special place. quiet and serene but five minutes from a variety of restaurants and the beach. loved it!

"Nicest room we've ever stayed in"

Nicest room we've ever stayed in! Feels like you're in a luxurious tree house. Beautifully decorated and lots of lovely touches, from a mini cheese board to a ready to go beach bag. The bed is super comfy and the shower is excellent! Would highly recommend for a special occasion.

There is building work on site at the moment so a word of warning if visiting over the coming few months, as you may hear some noise from 8am which could slightly spoil a lie in or the tranquility of the gardens.

"Absolute Bliss"

Would highly recommend staying here at L’amours nest. My partner and I stayed on our wedding night, was such a treat. The hosts went above and beyond. The views were unreal. The chalet has everything you need. Was clean and cosy. 5 star accomodation/service

"We LOVED our stay - perfect for our anniversary"

We stayed from the 21st-23rd January 2023 in Kauri. Loved the chalet and the outlook. Very quiet and serene. The grounds are fantastic for a walk around. The bed and pillows were amazingly comfortable. The comfy chairs to relax in were wonderful. Loved the table to have breakfast etc at. The bathroom is excellent and included everything you needed. Shower was perfect. The chalet is a luxury experience and it delivers. We were left nice options for breakfast to enjoy. The parking is easily sign posted on the street and then you drive down the drive, park and then walk down a short path to your chalet. We celebrated our wedding anniversary and the hosts left us a lovely surprise which was a lovely gesture. It was the perfect place to celebrate our anniversary at. I highly recommend for a special occassion.
