"Lovely chalet, but could be better equipped"

The chalet was cosy but spacious (especially for two). We found the beds very comfortable, the showers good, and the living area nice to be in. The hot tub is definitely a plus.

Because of some reviews I’d read, I had assumed that the chalet was very well equipped with lots of extras. Some reviews refer to a welcome pack, biscuits, and wine. One review even mentions dressing gowns. There were none of these things - only tea/coffee (see photo). Even some of the basics were missing - e.g. no salt/pepper, no dishwasher tablets, not even a corkscrew or bottle opener.

Spacious lodge in a lovely location near Rudyard lake. The hot tub was great and well maintained. The outside garden area was great and secure for our dog and the wildlife and views were lovely to look at and very relaxing from the lodge. 👍

We had an amazing stay! The lodge was cosy, clean, and beautifully designed, with stunning wooden cladding that made it feel really unique and special. The hot tub was a real highlight — perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The location was peaceful and surrounded by beautiful nature. Highly recommend!

Beautiful location, comfortable and great hosts. Hot tub was really lovely after a long day. We found the property easily following the instructions sent and the hosts were available and helpful.
