Luxurious lodge, Woodlands View, Hot tub at Rudyard Lake, couples or small family

Stunning views and a much needed peaceful break away for mine and my partners anniversary. The hosts were wonderful and kept us updated with everything and even left a welcome card and a bottle of wine for us. The lodge is beautiful and every attention to detail and facility possible had been well thought out and provided. Enjoyed a couple of evenings watching the wildlife and relaxing in the hot tub. We didn’t see any moles unfortunately but there’s always next time! 🙂

Beautiful remote lodge surrounded by wonderful wildlife. Quiet and peaceful. Clean tidy and loved the added touches. Communication was fantastic from owners and hot tub was amazing, again clean and just perfect for a relqxing weekend. Walking distance from Lake so my husband fished while i chilled in the hottube and enjoyed the wildlife

Everything is perfect , the cabin is so well equipped, it’s warm and welcoming the location is amazing so peaceful, the cabin is spacious and spotless, we enjoyed the hot tub after a cold walk around the beautiful lake

Noise from them working outside on the gravel road was very triggering for my dogs .

Wow, what an amazing place to stay and chill out, it exceeded our expectations and was absolutely perfect for us. The hot tub was a must when i was looking for somewhere to stay with our dogs, with an enclosed garden too this place ticked all our boxes. The Lodge was spotlessly clean on arrival, nice and cosy and warm, very spacious, fully equiped with everything we needed (apart from a pair of scissors), the bedrooms were lovely and the added en-suite shower and toilet in the double bedroom were a nice bonus too. The lounge area was very cosy on an evening after walking during the day and the hot tub was perfect for a drink and relax too. Perfectly located for the lake and it's cafe/railway and the hotel a bit further down for a drink and an evening meal. The welcome gifts for us and the dogs were a lovely touch too and the hosts were on hand and accessible quickly. A fantastic place and worth every penny, we'd love to return again sometime. Possibly a couple of lights on the lane walking down to the hotel would be helpful, obviously this isn't the properties responsibility and we had torches on our phones so it wasn't a major issue, would have just made the trek back a little easier.
