We really enjoyed our first time staying in the lodge, it was beautiful and cosy! You can tell just how much detail the owners put into making you feel comfortable and at home. We loved the little extras, it was clean and tidy and we felt so relaxed. The owners are so lovely and communication was also great! We especially loved watching the wildlife and couldn’t believe how many birds, robins and squirrels there were! It’s so peaceful to just be able to sit and watch. The hot tub was also lovely and warm and we loved listening to the birds and enjoying the calmness at night looking up at the stars. Rudyard lake also has some lovely sights and great walks and we definitely recommend exploring the area, going up into the Roaches to see the lovely country views. Honestly couldn’t fault our trip at all, we just loved it and didn’t want to leave! Thank you so much Dan & Mogs, we can’t wait to come back in the future! Highly recommend if you’re wanting a few days away to relax in the peace and quiet!

It was so cosy and I felt so welcome and the host left us thoughtful little gifts and even included treats for my dog! So happy.

I wish the checkout was a little later but it’s the same everywhere so it’s to be expected x

Loved everything about the Lodge. Beautifully decorated, superb location and just so peaceful.

The personal touches were absolutely lovely, the hot tub was amazing, and the lodge was beautiful. Sitting on the deck with a book in the morning watching the birds was so peaceful.

Very comfortable chalet with lovely views & a short walk down field to the lake. Lots of wildlife & fabulous hot tub! Brilliant place to stay if you have children, dogs or both or if like us you just want to spend some quiet time out in the countryside.
