False advertisement this establishment is not a game reserve but rather a farm house surrounded by cows and it's not in Harrismith it's approximately an hour's drive from town it's close to Bergville. We couldn't sleep at night the mosquito's were having a feast on us. Worse part the road is terrible we even had a tyre puncture on our way back Good thing it's only the staff they were very accommodating but the rest is a NO GO AREA!!!

"Delightful and unique holiday"

Extremely delightful holiday with family. The lodging was beautiful and well maintained. The staff was incredibly helpful. Highly recommend for a unique experience- it truly felt like we were in another country- safe and isolated- enjoyed the privacy and peaceful atmosphere!

The road to the lodging can be extremely challenging to drive through during raining periods - highly recommend to get clear directions and confirm conditions of the roads before travelling. The staff are extremely helpful if you get in a pickle whilst travelling. Cars are okay to travel on these roads but for peace of mind, suggest a 4x4.

The cottage was a bit dated, and when it rained the roof leaked in multiple places

The manageress, Nicole, was absolutely amazing. The cottage we had was so beautiful and catered for our every need. The views were exquisite. We got to hike on the most amazing trails and connect with horses along the way. Just wonderful!
