Masca - Casa Rural Morrocatana - Tenerife ONLY ADULTS

The location was exceptional, with both the access and the views magnificent. The apartment is very clean—above standard. Large and spacious. The views from every room are incredible. In the evenings, the only sounds are roosters—other than that, it's completely quiet. The perfect place for someone who wants to connect with nature.

We could use more kitchen supplies, like paper towels, and a larger supply of sugar and salt, but the owners mentioned shopping at the beginning, so we were prepared. It's hard to find anything negative about this place. Maybe it's a bit too dark inside...

* Excellent view. * It is secluded and quiet during the evening / night. * Reasonable price. * Wifi worked well. * Communication with the company managing the apartment was responsive.

* Masca gets flooded with tourist during the day, so not really secluded. There are no restaurants nearby which are open in the evening. The road to Santiago del Teide is small but busy (and beautiful), so it takes almost q5 minutes to get there (nearest small supermarkets and restaurants). * The bed is uncomfortable, in particular the pillow. * The kitchen is basic. It would have been nice if some kitchen basics would have been provided, such as cooking oil and kitchen paper. * The owners wife is not very friendly. We took a glass to the lower terrace (which they call swimming pool, because next to it there is a small pool inside the building)to drink a beer. She told us it was not allowed and we needed to take it back to the room as if we were little children.
