Masca - Casa Rural Morrocatana - Tenerife ONLY ADULTS

Excellent, recommendable place. The village itself is beautifully situated and quiet, among the mountains. The house is carefully prepared for guests. The host takes care of the house with the utmost care.

The setting is absolutely sublime, surrounded by rocky peaks, and sitting above the spectacular Masca gorge. The house is quiet and comfortable, fitted out to a high standard in a lovely rustic style. Pedro the owner was super helpful and friendly. We enjoyed having the use of the warm indoor pool with mountain views, and the lovely sun terrace. We loved the peace and quiet of Masca.

The access road is quite precarious, but Pedro helped us to manoeuvre into the parking space. If you are planning to hike the Masca gorge (Barranco de Masca) from here, make sure to research it fully in advance. We found that you can only book tickets for the descent of the gorge, and it's compulsory to book the water taxi from the foot of the gorge to Los Gigantes. Bus services back from there to Masca via Santiago del Teide were quite limited at the weekend, but we were able to share a taxi instead.

This little house is true treasure. The view is spectacular, the place itself is comfortable and clean and has everything you need. The caretaker Pedro was very friendly and helpful (with a little help from Google Translate!).

Nothing, really. You just need to know that the driveway downhill is very steep and a bit hairy. And you need Pedro's own property to turn the car around.

The view, the beauty of the area, the communication with the owner and his kindness, great instructions to get the keys. Perfect place to relax!

The pillows were not the most comfortable. The first day of driving close to Masca is impressive, small roads in the mountains. To park it is a bit of a maneuver but once you did once you know what to expect and it is fine.

Pedro was always helpful and friendly. A mine of information and very attentive. The venue was well designed and the view incredible. We hope to go back.
