Excellent location. The Serra da Estrela breed of dogs are cuties. They're big and fluffy. I love them. The scenery, especially when it's snowing, is extremely beautiful. The river nearby is also a nice touch. It's a nice and silent location, with a very cozy fireplace and super friendly staff.

There could be more power outlets in the room. One of them was not functional. But it's definitely not a deal breaker to me. Will return there again for sure.

"Unique Mountain experience!!"

The setting is AMAZING. We enjoyed the environment so much! We did a beautiful hike to an "artistic waterhole". Anna is superfriendly. And she Also gives great massages!

You have to know you have to walk a very short while on an unpaved road. Since the house is in the middle of nowhere, the comfort is basic. But the experience is 100% Worth it!

"Comfy, beautiful and nice"

The location was dreamlike, the house is beautiful, the people who hosted us were really accommodating and nice. I will allways remember this trip with a smile.

I felt it wasn't clear how the rooms system worked. Some rooms don't have its own bathroom, and you're not getting a full house, just a bedroom in the large house. This came as a bit of a disappointment, I must say.

"A mountain Retreat for sure."

The Location Was epic and for sure A private plunge pool and river running of the Mountain. The guest house look amazing and I was disappointed I missed out. Also the Owners were amazing and very friendly.

Travelling As A disabled Motorcycle rider the track to the guest house was nearly the end of me and my trip. I would say it is for the able bodied or if you have A disability, traveling with friends/family. Don't let this put you of, I'm sure if I had been there under different circumstances, I'd have enjoyed the stay.

"Paradise"

Its is absolute paradise accomodation in privat lower chalet.. for those who seek quiet private place to calm down and relax. this is the place.. absolutely charming. In the middle of the summer there was still enough of water in the stream to offer the best possible wellness to us.
