Salto do Lobo - Montain houses with private river

It is an escape from the city! This is a wonderful location that has its own private 3x waterfalls. The beds are very comfortable as well. I highly recommend this location. There is easy access for beautiful hiking trails that we were able to walk to.

Location excellent.

The bathroom was dirty and had not been cleaned from previous guests. It was very cold. The owner left two heaters and some logs for the fire. We were informed that when the logs had been used up, we would be charged €6 per bag. The logs were all used the first night. Areas of the roof were leaking. We were woken by water dripping on to the bed. We told the owner and said we didn't want to stay for the third night because it was unacceptable conditions. We were informed that we would not get a refund! Great location but overpriced, not comfortable, and owner seems to be in denial about how much work needs to be done to the property, to make it an acceptable holiday home.

Any time I come to Serra the Estrella I will stay here. The location is amazing and central to all that the area has to offer. The space was accommodating with everything that we needed for our stay. Host is also very friendly and helpful. Also the private pond area is an amazing feature of this property. 10/10
