Monsanto is amazing and a must visit! Host sent us directions by whatsapp with a video on how to find the accommodation, this was very helpful. Host is fitting the local environment and is in a great location in Monsanto. View from the balcony was amazing and you can have a nice coffee from the balcony viewing the area. Overall good value for money. Convenient and clean

Only comment is that the house is full of stuff. It gives the house a nice adapted ambience but it was too loaded with stuff. Also the shower was rather small maybe with less stuff it would make more place in the bathroom.

House is gorgeous just a little tough to get there, specially if we come with heavy bags. Rooms are good and comfy, a little small like the other parts of the house but definitely compensated by the amazing view from the big terrace. Monsanto is beautiful.

We absolutely adore this charming town, especially once the day-trip tourists have departed. The property has been transformed from an old building, though the doorways are rather low, leading my husband to unintentionally bump his head a couple of times. Nevertheless, this minor inconvenience doesn't bother us much. One of our favorite pastimes is watching the sunset from the deck. Additionally, the washer is a definite bonus for us. The beds are both clean and comfortable. It would be even better if the owner could remove some of the furniture from the walkway on the second floor, as it would be more practical for those residing in the house. We had to be cautious to avoid colliding with them. Aside from that small concern, the place is truly wonderful.

Lack of lighting in the kitchen.

We had to walk straight up to find our place off the main road. Very eclectically furnished amidst an intensely historic area. Surprisingly modern decor. Comfortable beds. Right near 2 good restaurants.

We had to carry our bags straight uphill from the municipal parking area to reach our lodging. Considering the extremely difficult uphill terrain the room itself was a pleasant surprise. Had no contact with host, just directions over the phone. It was a private apartment but we would have enjoyed some personal interaction.
