Central location, view, nice bedding and great shower.

Could be less stuff, coffee would have nice. Quite a few earwigs everywhere. Quite a walk up from the parking.

Extremely central, cosy and tiny like a doll’s house which thrilled everyone. Amazing views. Comfy beds. Clean house.

The main pillows were really tall and hard so impossible to use but once I swapped them for smaller ones, they were great. A kettle would have been nice. Some plugs were not working but that’s to be expected in a place like that although the one in the living room by the sofa really needs sorting as it’s a hazard. Also a bit less stuff so we’d have room to put our things would have been useful. But in truth the place is so magical that nothing could make a dent on the experience.

Excellent location. An authentic house with a great view from the balcony. Sparkling clean. The check-in instructions (including a video) from the host were easy to follow. Pay attention to the column with inscriptions and a history plaque, going back to the 1970s. Overall, we very much enjoyed our stay and walking trips.

Warning to tall people: low door frames and the kitchen ceiling. An extremely tight shower box. Can be a con for those who like (lots of) various furniture and well-maintained "antiques" like radios, cassette and DVD players, small tube TVs: somewhat cluttered to our taste. Needs sprucing up technology-wise.

This was such a cool quirky place to stay. Had a great view from the balcony. Great to have a washing machine. Contact with the host was good. Stayed here with our daughter - bedrooms were small so had our suitcases in the 'lounge'. Monsanto is definitely worth the visit, one night is enough to see it all but if you have time and want to chill out take an extra night.

Limited groceries available in town so be sure to shop before you arrive if you want to make your own meals.

Very tastefully decorated traditional house with amazing view. Comfortable beds, nice linens. Spotless clean.

The location was incredible and the house had a great retro vibe with lots of unique furnishings and art. The view from the balcony was amazing. Wish we were staying more than one night so we could have enjoyed the space more.

It does get pretty hot in the bedrooms and the AC can't reach them so having fans in the rooms would help. It's also rather unfortunate that the bathroom vent pipe is on the balcony floor so it smells quite a bit when you are trying to enjoy the view.
